Power Project
The Power Street Residence in Hermosa Beach is a 7,000-square-foot coastal home designed around a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. Natural materials, abundant light, and a restrained palette give the home a warm, contemporary character that feels at home in its Southern California setting.
The custom cabinetry is central to the interior, with clean-lined, floor-to-ceiling millwork creating a quiet architectural backdrop throughout the open living spaces. In the kitchen, warm white oak cabinetry is paired with crisp white paneled storage, while integrated appliances and minimal hardware maintain the streamlined aesthetic. Built-in cabinetry continues into adjacent entertaining areas, reinforcing the home’s cohesive material language and complementing the white oak ceilings and other natural finishes. The result is cabinetry that feels both highly functional and intentionally understated—supporting the residence’s relaxed coastal character without competing with its architecture.
